Research quality
Having examined the conditions for good research, the focus is now on various indicators that show the extent to which everyday scientific practices are geared towards research quality. The first step is to determine the objectives and priorities that scientists set for themselves. Secondly, the question arises as to which activities are most likely to suffer in terms of quality when they do have to suffer due to high levels of stress. Thirdly, research practices are examined to determine what quality risks they entail and what quality assurance measures are routinely implemented.
